Coffee Cherry Only about 5% of a Kona coffee harvest is peaberry. The peaberry coffee cherries are typically found at the ends of the coffee tree branches; where, it seems, the cherries have drawn more of the essential constituents the give Kona coffee its rich taste. Perhaps this is the reason the flavor seems more concentrated. The peaberry is a coffee cherry with a single bean inside. Some farmers say they are formed when the wind blows half of the white coffee flower away before it forms the beginnings of the cherry... could be?    Sun dried coffee    Our sun-dried peaberry coffee is roasted to a strong "medium"—not quite a "full dark" roast. This seams to be the perfect amount of heat to bring out the wonderful taste and an aroma of this unique coffee. We are certain you will be pleased. If you are not completely satisfied, return the unused portion for a full refund.
